Fiska

Fiska is a tax and invoicing app for self-employed people in Malta. It keeps your income, expenses and invoices in one place and works out your tax picture as you go.

It is being built and tested by one person in Malta. It is early software, and it is not open for general sign-up yet.

This site

This site exists to host the documents the app links to and that the app stores and the GDPR require to be publicly reachable. It is deliberately small.

• The privacy policy sets out what Fiska holds about you, why, where it is kept, and what you can ask us to do about it.
• Delete your account explains how to close your Fiska account and delete your data, from inside the app or without it.
• The terms and disclaimer set out what Fiska is and is not. The short version: it is a tool, not your accountant, and every figure it shows is an estimate that has not been signed off by a professional.

Fiska is not tax advice

Nothing in Fiska is tax, accounting or legal advice. It works out figures from the tax rules as we have read them, and that is not the same as being qualified to advise you on them.

If a figure matters — if you are about to file it, pay it, or rely on it — check it with a qualified accountant or with the Commissioner for Revenue first.
